Objective:  Work Capacity / Running Endurance

warmup: 
400 meter run
3 rounds of
   5x scorpions each side
   5x hip swivel each side
   3x shoulder sweep each side
   mini leg blaster
400 meter run

Training:
1) 6 rounds
800 meter run
90 seconds rest

2) 12 down to 1
pushups
squat jumps

3) 3 rounds
Jake's complex (10x each movement)
20x situps

Comments:
What the hell are we all doing this for?  We work our asses off to what end?  Me, I train for that day.  That day that will hopefully never come but if and when it does....you bet you ass I will be ready.  You know what I am talking about..........Zombies.

I am starting to have events in mind when we program.  Although establishing base fitness is our primary goal I am starting to get the itch to do some sport specific programming.  1st up on the agenda will be a 5k.  Simple and readily available.  We will benchmark this week and start additional training next week.
