Sausage Biscuit
Objective: Strength

Warmup: 4 rounds
mini leg blaster
8x pushups
8x shoulder dislocates

1) 6 rounds
3x front squat increase weight until difficult but doable (85% 1rm)
3x ride it down squat

2) 5 rounds
6x Military Press increase weight until difficult but doable
4x scotty bob's each side @ 25
3x Sandbag getup each side @ 80

3) 5 rounds
6x Hang Snatch @ 65lbs
4x burpees
4x Ankles to bar
pigeon stretch

Comments:  My training partner and best friend Tod was in town for the holiday this past week.  He is currently coaching full time with Rob Shaul at Military / Mountain Athlete.  We talked training and about the Big 24 + cycle.  It seemed that the athletes were not getting the volume they needed to stimulate adaptation for set loading.  In short their form was getting sloppy to meet the demands of the loads.  This week we will continue with a strength emphasis in a more traditional format, such as the one above.  Next week get ready for some gnarly work capacity sessions.
