Warm up:

400m hill run
5x scorpions

Training:
1) 5rds
10x Scotty bobs
15x Med ball slams
15x box jumps

2) 5rds
12x plank supermans
6x single arm swings
50 meter hill sprint

Comments: Breathing heavy today. You'll get a super upper body pump going from the Scotty Bob's to Ball Slams if you bring the heat on the slams. Unlike my coach I have access to year round training outdoors so we do more running than the guys up in Jackson. I also feel like running is about a functional movement / mode as you can get, up to a certain point.

I am not a fan of long distance running. I personally feel that the damage from impact during long distance training does not outweigh the benefits. I also feel it takes too much time and detrains the body for higher intensity workloads. Your body's output is a reflection of its imputs. If you train at low intensities than you will get a weak yet efficient machine.
